We let studios, flats and houses in Kent and have done so for over 20 years. We own the majority of the properties that we let. We like to think we know what we are doing - providing you with a safe, clean, comfortable and well maintained home.

Here are some things about us which are a bit different :

We’re full time professional landlords

• We take the management of our properties very seriously and don’t have to balance this with other businesses/careers.
• You’ll have direct access to the property owners with emergency contact details.
• We are accredited landlords under the Kent Landlord Accreditation Scheme.
• We are members of The National Landlords Association with whom we have signed up to a professional code of conduct.

We’re not greedy

• We won’t charge you fees for referencing, registering your deposit, renewing contracts etc.
• We offer students lower deposits and discounted rental for longer lets.

Your deposit is safe with us

• We are members of mydeposits.co.uk who offer you protection in the unlikely event of a dispute over deposits.
• There is nothing we like more than returning your deposit in full to you at the end of the tenancy – it means you have looked after our property and paid the rent on time and in full !
• mydeposits.co.uk have never had to resolve a deposit dispute for us.

You’re safe

• We enjoy a good working relationship with local Councils who have inspected our properties where necessary in order for us to get our HMO licences (where required) or for fire safety etc.
• Naturally we only supply furniture that complies with the relevant legislation.
• Our Gas Safety Register plumber checks gas appliances annually.
• Each electrical installation is certificated by an NICEIC engineer.
• Our fire/smoke detection systems are regularly inspected by qualified engineers.
• We check fire doors and fire extinguishers regularly.
• We can show you energy performance certificates for all our properties.

We respect your privacy

• You will always have advance notice of our calling which will generally be at your invitation for maintenance or planned visits such as engineers servicing fire safety equipment etc.

We take maintenance and repair requests very seriously

• We have standards for response times for maintenance/repairs.
• In most instances the response times are exceeded.

We have multi skilled maintenance men on call and access to Gas Safety Register or NICEIC qualified tradesmen where more specialist work is required.
